“Pet Sematary” è la traccia numero 7 di “Brain Drain”, undicesimo album del gruppo “Ramones”. Uscito nel 1989, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. La canzone è stata scritta per il film “Cimitero Vivente”, tratto dal romanzo “Pet Sematary”, di Stephen King. I Ramones furono uno dei più influenti gruppi musicali punk rock statunitensi. Formatosi a Forest Hills, nel Queens(New York), intorno al marzo 1974, il gruppo fu fra i fondatori del movimento punk rock newyorkese. La formazione originaria era formata da Joey Ramone(voce), Johnny Ramone(chitarra), Dee Dee Ramone(basso, voce d’accompagnamento) e Tommy Ramone(batteria). Nel 1996 il gruppo si sciolse. Tre membri del gruppo, Joey, Dee Dee e Johnny, morirono nel decennio successivo.
