“Open Your Eyes” è la traccia numero 1 di “Proud Like a God”, album d’esordio del gruppo “Guano Apes”. Uscito nel 1997, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. I Guano Apes sono un gruppo musicale alternative metal tedesco. Il gruppo ottiene una certa notorietà in Italia dopo che il loro brano del 1997 “Open Your Eyes” viene scelto come colonna sonora di uno spot di un primario gestore di telefonia mobile. Il gruppo è formato da Sandra Nasić(voce), Henning Rümenapp(chitarra), Stefan Ude(basso) e Dennis Poschwatta(batteria).
