The Doors L.A. Woman“The Changeling” è la traccia numero 1 di “L.A. Woman”, sesto album del gruppo “The Doors”. Uscito nel 1971, questa canzone è il quarto singolo estratto dall’album. I Doors sono stati un gruppo musicale rock statunitense, fondato nel 1965 da Jim Morrison(cantante), Ray Manzarek(tastierista), Robby Krieger(chitarrista) e John Densmore(batterista), e scioltosi definitivamente dopo otto anni di carriera effettiva nel 1973, due anni dopo la morte di Jim Morrison(avvenuta a Parigi il 3 luglio del 1971). Molti dei loro brani sono considerati dei classici e sono stati reinterpretati da numerosi artisti delle generazioni successive. Nel 2003 la rivista “Rolling Stone” ha inserito l’album “L.A. Woman” al 362esimo posto della sua “lista dei 500 migliori album di sempre”. E’ l’ultimo disco registrato dai Doors prima della morte di Morrison.
