“I’m Shipping Up To Boston” è la traccia numero 11 di “The Warrior’s Code”, quinto album del gruppo “Dropkick Murphys”. Uscito nel 2005, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. I Dropkick Murphys sono un gruppo celtic punk formato a Quincy, nei pressi di Boston, nel 1996. La loro musica risente delle influenze di gruppi come “Stiff Little Fingers”, “The Pogues”, “AC/DC”, “The Clash” e dei “$wingin’ Utter$”. Il nome “Dropkick Murphys” deriva da un centro di riabilitazione, situato nel Connecticut. La canzone “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” È stato usato nel film del 2006 “The Departed - Il bene e il male”, e compare quindi nell’album della colonna sonora “The Departed: Music from the Motion Picture”.
