“Walk This Way” è la traccia numero 4 di “Toys in the Attic”, terzo album del gruppo “Aerosmith”. Uscito nel 1975, questa canzone è il secondo singolo estratto dall’album. Gli Aerosmith sono un gruppo hard&heavy statunitense, formatosi a Boston nel 1970. Tra gli artisti di maggior successo nella storia del rock, hanno influenzato gran parte della musica negli anni settanta e ottanta, e hanno contribuito allo sviluppo di vari generi come l’hard rock e l’heavy metal. Gli Aerosmith hanno piazzato ben 27 singoli ai primi 40 posti di numerose classifiche mondiali, nove al numero uno della Mainstream Rock Tracks. Hanno vinto numerosi premi, tra cui quattro Grammy Awards e dieci MTV Video Music Awards; nel 2001 sono stati inseriti nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Il gruppo è formato da Steven Tyler(voce, tastiere, piano, armonica, percussioni), Joe Perry(chitarra solista), Brad Whitford(chitarra ritmica), Tom Hamilton(basso) e Joey Kramer(batteria, percussioni). Nel 2003 l’album “Toys in the Attic” è entrato nella lista dei “500 album più belli di tutti i tempi” secondo la rivista americana “Rolling Stone”, alla posizione numero 228. “Walk This Way” si ispira ad una scena di “Frankenstein Junior” con Gene Wilder. Il brano fu riproposto nel 1986 dagli stessi Aerosmith con la collaborazione del gruppo rap dei “Run DMC” con cui la reinterpretarono con l’aggiunta di un cantato rap.
