“The Miracle(Of Joey Ramone)” è la traccia numero 1 di “Songs of Innocence”, tredicesimo album del gruppo “U2”. Uscito nel 2014, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. Gli U2 sono un gruppo alternative rock/post-punk irlandese formatosi a Dublino nel 1976. Il gruppo è composto da Paul David Hewson in arte Bono(cantante), David Howell Evans in arte The Edge(chitarrista), Adam Clayton(bassista) e Larry Mullen Jr.(batterista). Nella loro carriera hanno venduto oltre 155 milioni di dischi e ricevuto il maggior numero di “Grammy Awards” per un gruppo e possono essere considerati come uno dei gruppi di maggior successo sulla scena internazionale. Nel 2005, appena raggiunto il termine minimo dei 25 anni di carriera, sono stati introdotti nella “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”. L’album “Songs of Innocence” è stato dedicato a Paul McGuinness, ex-manager del gruppo ritiratosi nel 2013. L’album è stato annunciato il 9 settembre 2014 nel corso della conferenza di presentazione del nuovo iPhone 6 e dell’Apple Watch ed è stato pubblicato gratuitamente a spese di Apple lo stesso giorno a tutti gli utenti di iTunes Store. Caratterizzato da un potente riff di chitarra in apertura, “The Miracle(Of Joey Ramone)” è un brano rock caratterizzato da un ritornello orecchiabile.
