“Take Me Out” è la traccia numero 3 di “Franz Ferdinand”, album d’esordio del gruppo “Franz Ferdinand”. Uscito nel 2004, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. I Franz Ferdinand sono un gruppo indie rock scozzese, di Glasgow, formato nel 2003. La band è composta da Alex Kapranos(voce, chitarra), Bob Hardy(basso), Nick McCarthy(chitarra, voce, tastiera), Paul Thomson(batteria, cori). Grazie all’album “Franz Ferdinand”, la band riceve parecchi premi internazionali, come il Mercury Music Prize, Ivor Novello Award, due Brit Awards e un premio come miglior video da Mtv per “Take Me Out”. L’album ha avuto un buon riscontro nelle classifiche mondiali, vendendo più di 3 milioni e mezzo di copie.
