“The Evil That Men Do” è la traccia numero 4 di “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son”, settimo album del gruppo “Iron Maiden”. Uscito nel 1988, questa canzone è il secondo singolo estratto dall’album. Gli Iron Maiden sono un gruppo musicale heavy metal britannico, formatosi a Londra nel 1975 per iniziativa del bassista Steve Harris. Sono considerati uno dei gruppi più importanti ed influenti del genere. Il gruppo attuale è formato da Bruce Dickinson(voce), Dave Murray(chitarra ritmica e solista), Adrian Smith(chitarra ritmica e solista, cori), Janick Gers(chitarra ritmica e solista), Steve Harris(basso, cori, tastiera) e Nicko McBrain(batteria). “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son” può essere considerato l’album più riuscito degli “Iron Maiden”. Ha venduto più di 12 milioni di copie. Il titolo di “The Evil That Men Do” è preso da un dramma di William Shakespeare(il Julius Caesar) e precisamente dal discorso fatto da Marc’Antonio alla folla dei Romani all’indomani dell’assassinio di Cesare.
