“Stop And Stare” è la traccia numero 3 di “Dreaming Out Loud”, album d’esordio del gruppo “OneRepublic”. Uscito nel 2007, questa canzone è il secondo singolo estratto dall’album. OneRepublic sono un gruppo pop rock statunitense formato in Colorado. Il gruppo attuale è formato da Ryan Tedder(voce, basso, chitarra acustica, pianoforte, tastiera, sintetizzatore, tamburello), Zach Filkins(voce, chitarra, viola, violino), Drew Brown(chitarra, basso, tastiera, Xilogono, cori), Brent Kutzle(basso, violoncello, violino, tastiera, sintetizzatori, programmazioni) e Eddie Fisher(batteria, percussioni). L’album “Dreaming And Out” ha venduto sino ad ora circa 2 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Nel video di “Stop And Stare” vengono mostrate diverse versioni del cantante Tedder: mentre suona con la band, mentre cammina incappucciato per le strade della città e mentre assiste da solo a un funerale. Il brano è anche la canzone che viene suonata quando appaiono in un episodio della sesta stagione di “Smallville”.
