“Golden Skans” è la traccia numero 3 di “Myths of the Near Future”, album d’esordio dei “Klaxons”. Uscito nel 2007, questa canzone è il primo singolo dell’album. I Klaxons sono un gruppo musicale synth rock inglese di Londra. Il gruppo è formato da Jamie Reynolds(voce, basso), James Righton(voce, tastiere/sintetizzatori), Simon Taylor-Davis(chitarra, seconda voce) e Steffan Halperin(batteria, seconda voce). Il loro nome è ispirato dalla letteratura e dalla filosofia futurista, che fa del culto dell’automobile e della velocità un elemento centrale del Manifesto del futurismo.
