I The Darkness sono un gruppo hard & heavy britannico. Il loro stile musicale retrò pare risentire di influenze da parte di molti gruppi hard rock/heavy metal degli anni ‘70 come i Led Zeppelin, gli AC/DC, i Def Leppard, i Judas Priest, i Thin Lizzy, i Van Halen, Yes, i Queen, Kiss e i T-Rex. L’attuale formazione del gruppo è composta da Justin Hawkins(voce, chitara, tastiera), Daniel Hawkins(chitarra), Frankie Poullain(basso) e Emily Dolan Davies(batteria).
