Gli Oasis sono stati un gruppo rock britannico formatosi a Manchester nel 1991 e attivo fino al 2009. Hanno venduto circa 70 milioni di dischi, di cui 18 nel solo 1996. Gli Oasis hanno piazzato 8 singoli al primo posto nel Regno Unito, 22 singoli consecutivi nella top 10 inglese e raccolto 15 NME Awards, 6 Brit Awards, 9 Q Awards e 4 MTV Europe Music Awards. L’ultima formazione del gruppo era composta da Liam Gallagher(voce, chitarra), Noel Gallagher(chitarra, voce, pianoforte), Gem Archer(chitarra), Andy Bell(basso) e Chris Sharrock(batteria). Il gruppo ha cambiato nome dopo l’abbandono di Noel Gallagher e si è sciolto definitivamente nel 2009.
