“Same Jane” è la traccia numero 8 di “Hot Wire”, quinto album del gruppo Kix. Uscito nel 1991, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. I Kix sono un gruppo hair metal formato a Hagerstown(Maryland) nel 1978. Nel 1991 la formazione del gruppo era composta da Steve Whiteman(voce, armonica, sassofono), Brian Forsythe(chitarre, cori), Ronnie Younkins(chitarre, cori), Donnie Purnell(basso, tastiere, cori) e Jimmy Chalfant(batteria, percussioni, cori). Il gruppo si sciolse nel 1996. I Kix si riunirono nel 2004, suonando il primo concerto nel settembre di quell’anno.
