“Drivin’ my life away” è la traccia numero 3 di “Horizon”, sesto album del cantante Eddie Rabbitt. Uscito nel 1980, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. Eddie Rabbitt è stato un cantautore e musicista statunitense. Nato a Brooklyn (New York) nel 1941, la sua carriera musicale è iniziata nel 1964, anno in cui ha firmato un contratto con la 20th Century Records e ha pubblicato i primi singoli. Nel 1998 è morto a causa di un tumore al polmone. L’album “Horizon” è quello che ha più successo nella sua carriera trainato dal singolo “Drivin’ My Life Away”. La canzone è nella soundtrack del film “Finding Steve McQueen” del 2018.
