“Ruby” è la traccia numero 1 di “Yours Truly, Angry Mob”, secondo album del gruppo “Kaiser Chiefs”. Uscito nel 2007, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. Kaiser Chiefs sono un gruppo indie rock inglese formatosi nel 1997 a Leeds con il nome di Parva. Nel 2003 hanno assunto il nome Kaiser Chiefs, decidendo di ispirarsi alla squadra in cui il capitano sudafricano del Leeds Lucas Radebe militava a inizio carriera. Il gruppo attuale è formato da Ricky Wilson(voce), Andrew White(chitarra), Simon Rix(basso), Nick Baines(tastiere, sintetizzatore) e Vijay Mistry(batteria e percussioni). Hanno vinto tre Brit Awards nelle categorie Best Group, Best British Rock Act e Best Live Act nell’edizione del 2006 ed un NME Award per l’album Employment nella categoria Best Album 2006. “Ruby” è stato il primo singolo del gruppo a classificarsi in prima posizione, il 25 febbraio, ed ha finito l’anno fra i dieci singoli più venduti, con 313.765 copie. La canzone compare in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock come traccia bonus. Compare inoltre in PES 2010.
