“Paradise City” è la traccia numero 6 di “Appetite for Destruction”, album d’esordio del gruppo “Guns N’ Roses”. Uscito nel 1987, questa canzone è il secondo singolo estratto dall’album. I Guns N’ Roses sono un gruppo hard&heavy statunitense, formatosi a Los Angeles nel 1985. Lo stile sonoro, l’immagine trasgressiva e le costanti performance dal vivo li aiutarono ad occupare un posto di prestigio nella scena musicale tra la fine degli anni ottanta e l’inizio dei novanta. La formazione originale era composta da Axl Rose(voce), Slash(chitarra), Izzy Stradlin(chitarra), Steven Adler(batteria) e Duff McKagan(basso). Rose, che scrive anche la maggior parte dei testi, è attualmente l’unico membro rimasto della formazione originale.
