“Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” è la traccia numero 4 di “American Idiot”, settimo album del gruppo “Green Day”. Uscito nel 2005, questa canzone è il secondo singolo dell’album. I Green Day sono un gruppo musicale pop punk statunitense, formatosi a Berkeley nel 1987 e composto da quattro membri: Billie Joe Armstrong(chitarra e voce), Mike Dirnt(basso e voce secondaria), Tre Cool(batteria) e Jason White(chitarra). Tre Cool sostituì l’originario batterista Al Sobrante nel 1990, il quale abbandonò la band a causa dei suoi impegni nello studio. L’album “American Idiot” ha vinto la 47esima edizione dei “Grammy Awards”, nella categoria “Best Rock Album”. “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” è stato il pezzo più fortunato e di maggior successo dell’intero album. Il video del pezzo si è aggiudicato ben 7 premi su 8 agli “MTV Video Music Awards 2005”.
