“Time” è la traccia numero 4 di “The Dark Side of the Moon”, ottavo album del gruppo “Pink Floyd”. Uscito nel 1973, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. I Pink Floyd sono stati una rock band britannica formatasi nella seconda metà degli anni sessanta che, nel corso di una lunga e travagliata carriera, è riuscita a riscrivere le tendenze musicali della propria epoca, diventando uno dei gruppi più importanti della storia. Il gruppo storico era formato da Rogers Waters(basso elettrico), David Gilmour(voce principale, chitarra principale), Richard Wright(voce principale, piano elettrico, organo, sintetizzatore VCS3) e Nick Mason(batteria, percussioni). “The Dark Side of the Moon” fu un successo immediato, mantenne il primo posto della classifica statunitense “Top LPs & Tapes” per una settimana e vi rimase per altre 741 dal 1973 al 1988. Con 50 milioni di copie vendute, è quello di maggiore successo dei Pink Floyd e uno dei più venduti della storia.
