“I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” è la traccia numero 1 di “Sunshine on Leith”, secondo album del gruppo “The Proclaimers”. Uscito nel 1988, questa canzone è il primo singolo estratto dall’album. The Proclaimers sono un gruppo musicale scozzese composto dai gemelli Charlie e Craig Reid. La canzone “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” fa parte della colonna sonora del film di Ken Loach “La parte degli angeli”, uscito nel 2012. Altra curiosità: “I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)” è l’unica canzone che possa girare nella macchina di Marshall(una Pontiac Fiero) nella serie televisiva “How I Met Your Mother” poiché la cassetta è da anni incastrata nell’autoradio.
